Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)

This popular spoken English programme prepares students to take Trinity GESE and Trinity Online GESE grades 1–12 (pre-A1 to C2 CEFR proficiency). Success in these examinations demonstrates that students are developing real communicative language skills and resultant certificates can assist in entering a prestigious higher eduction institute.

  • Tests speaking and listening skills through an unscripted interview with a Trinity examiner from the UK 
  • Focuses on communicating freely and effectively rather than repeating memorised chunks
  • Tests take between 5 and 25 minutes
  • In-person or online

Trinity Integrated Skills of English (ISE)

ISE exams assess all four skills – Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading – interacting with each other as they do in the real world. The effectiveness of the ISE assessment lies in its validity and ability to generate highly positive washback. 

  • Enables students to gain confidence for local exams by providing a clear framework for progression
  • Available at five levels from A2 to C2 on the CEFR, so there is a level for every learner 
  • Core focus on transferable and study skills such as
